The show will be hitting 20 years since it first premiered and should be honored for all it’s done. People need to hear that is wasn’t just a teen show in the early 2000’s, it was something that spoke to the fans and gave them strength, hope and courage. While it’s no longer on the air, it’s still speaking to the fans.

It’s a show that didn’t just change lives, it saved lives.

Brooke Davis: Taught us to dream big and be ourselves with no excuses.

Haley Scott: Taught us to chase your dreams and never give up on love.

Nathan Scott: Taught us, we can live our own dreams and still feel sometimes.

Lucas Scott: Taught us to write with your heart and always believe in happy endings.

Peyton Sawyer: Taught us even through sadness we can overcome and we can be warriors.

You look at a show like One Tree Hill and you see a teen drama. Fans look at it and see an escape, a place of hope and a place of strength. It was a little show that could, but it did more than just entertain. Fans held on to the down, characters and the actors as it lifted them up out of a dark state in their lives. It told stories that helped those dealing with a loss or figuring out where they belong. It told the message of never give up and your dreams can come true. It spoke from the start and fans listened. It didn’t matter if it was a quote, an episode, season or the music it all hold a place in the hearts of fans.
